Every Muslim believes that Almighty Allah has not created a single soul whose sustenance isn’t decided. He is Razzaq – the provider, the one who is providing rizq to everyone including Muslims, non-Muslims, animals and all other creatures.

Besides praying, Allah Almighty and His Prophets have told us many easy Halal ways which can increase our wealth.

1. Wake Up For Namaz e Tahajjud

A person came to Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) and complained about severe poverty and hunger. He replied,

Man, do you pray Namaz Shab? He replied: Yes. Hazrat turned to his companions and said: “One who prays Namaz Shab and is hungry in the day, is mistaken, because Allah has assured sustenance of the day through Namaz Shab” –  The book of Salaat, Chap. 39, Vol. 8, Pg. 150

2. Read Surah Waqiyah

Holy Prophet PBUH said to Hazrat Ali once,

Eat whatever falls on the dinner spread, because it will remove poverty from you, it is the marriage portion for Hourul Ein and anyone who eats it, his heart will be filled with knowledge, forbearance, faith, and light. –  Mustadrakul Wasail, Vol. 16, Pg. 291

4. Wash Hands Before And After Meals

5. Give Charity

6. Say Salaam Before Entering The House

A man came to the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and complained about poverty and indigence. Holy Prophet (PBUH) said,

Whenever you enter your house, if there is anyone there, you should say Salaam and if there is no one, then also you should say Salam and recite Surah Tauheed once. –  Tafsir Majmaul Bayan, under the benefits of Surah Tauheed

7. Recite This Zikr

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said,

One, whose grief increases, should repent a lot and do ‘Istighfar’, and if poverty strikes a person, he should recite the following in excess: Laa h’awla Wa laa Quwwata illa billaahil A’liyyil A’z’eem – Al-Kafi, Vol. 8, Pg. 93

8. Do Good To Relatives

Holy Prophet (PBUH) said,

One who assures me about one thing, I will guarantee four things for him, that one thing is that he should do good to relatives, in that case, Allah loves him, increases his sustenance and lifespan and gives him Paradise, which He has promised. – Biharul Anwar, Vol. 74, Pg. 92

9. Wear White Or Yellow Shoes

Imam Jaffar Sadiq said,

One who wears white or yellow shoes; before they become old, he will get wealth from a source he never thought of. At that time he recited the following verse: “…her color is intensely yellow, giving delight to the beholders.” (Surah Baqarah 2:69)
