1. Apply it after a shower

Hygiene counts. Rule #1: Refrain from using your perfume on a sweaty body. That is a big NO. Nobody wants to smell your body’s ‘raw’ essence combined with an expensive perfume (eww).

So, to ensure your perfume lasts the entire day, apply it right after you step out of the shower while your pores are still open and your body is clean. Also, make sure you dry off your skin before you spray some on.

2. Don’t forget to moisturize before you apply it

When your skin’s moist, the fragrance will be able to lock in better. Use some fragrance-free lotion to moisturize your skin. You will want to do this before you put on your clothing or perfume.

Also, you can never go wrong with moisturizing. Summers or winters, don’t skip the moisturizer!

3. Applying vaseline on our pulse points works like magic!

Pulse points are where you actually need to apply the perfume. The pulse points radiate heat, helping the scent to evaporate from your skin. So, what are the pulse points? The pulse points are where the blood vessels are close to the skin. Pulse points include the nape of your neck, insides of your elbows, your wrists and the backs of your knees.

For better results, rub some vaseline on your pulse points and see the magic!

4. Try making your own lotion!

For long-lasting sweetness, you can create your own signature moisturizer! All you need to do is add a couple of drops of your perfume to your unscented lotion and shake away! There’s nothing like it and it i s indeed a total bargain!

5. Store your perfume bottle in a cool, dark spot!

Warm temperatures and damp places tend to damage the molecular structure and quality of the perfume. To avoid that, make sure you don’t keep your perfumes in direct sunlight or the bathroom. Try to keep them somewhere you safe.

6. Spray some perfume on to your hairbrush!

Gotta love some good smelling hair. Spray a couple of bursts of perfume on to your hairbrush or comb as it will disperse the scent through your hair. Your hair will literally retain the fragrance the entire day. Also, what’s amazing is that it won’t even damage your hair as you won’t be spraying it directly tou your hair.

7. Most importantly, don’t rub your perfume!

If you tend to rub your perfume, stop right there! Rubbing your pulse points breaks down the chemicals and causes there notes to dissolve faster. Instead of rubbing it, just gently dab it on your skin.

Now, let it sink in your skin…You’re welcome! Sit back and wait for someone to tell you how great you smell! *hehe*
