After Meesha Shafi gathered the guts to speak about being the victim of sexual harassment by Ali Zafar, Pakistani female celebrities, slowly but gradually are coming forward to share their stories. Some share them openly, others say the words in hidden ways.
Armeena Khan has been a victim of being sexually harassed in the streets of Lahore while she was fully covered in a burka. She shared the story on her Twitter and deemed light on how none of this is for fame or attention, and we don’t even blame her – she has plenty of it.
Rabi Pirzada, On the Other Hand, Kept Saying Idiotic Things on Sexual Harassment and On the Meesha/Ali Fiasco
Don't know what's up or what went wrong but they seemed fine together! They should stop using media for cheap publicity … pic.twitter.com/WnJSoNRhWl

She Then Said that Women Like Meesha Shafi are Making a Mockery Out of Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is a very serious, sad and a real issue in pakistan , but people like Meesha, shermeen and aisha gulailai is making a Micky out of it and eventually real young innocent girls will continue to suffer .this “Bold and the beautiful” Spree must be discouraged .

The Rabi Said How She Has No Story to Share for Publicity as She has Never Been Harassed
No one has harrased or disrespected me ever, neither in media nor in family. I respect men and they gimme respect in return. Sorry ladies i 've no story to share for publicity. #auratmazaqnahi #metoo

Eventually, Armeena Khan Stepped In Because Obviously, It Was Getting Too Annoying to Read the Tweets Made by Rabi!
BUT you do don’t know ME. How can you presume stuff about me?

And Here’s More
I just saw your video telling Meera off on her English. May I ask what on earth is “making a micky?” And who are these “right women” who should talk about sexual harassment? Lady, count your blessings. However, you do not discredit or discourage others from doing so. https://t.co/SALf0y91YK
— Armeena Khan (@ArmeenaRK) April 22, 2018
And Armeena Couldn’t Stop It For All the Right Reasons
Ms. Pirzada. Thank you. I know we haven’t met ever but I implore you retract the “the right women” only statement. It is only going to bring further disrepute to a justified cause. Misogyny is alive and well and we need to come together. Have a nice day. https://t.co/ypzRO10VK2
— Armeena Khan (@ArmeenaRK) April 22, 2018
And Eventually, Armeena Finally Shared that All of this Has Caused a Headache and She Would Rather Take a Break from Twitter Now Based on the Insensitivity of People
Taking a break from Twitter Ya’all. I think my blood pressure just went up, I can’t believe I share this planet with such ignorant individuals. ? #Tauba
— Armeena Khan (@ArmeenaRK) April 22, 2018
Strange to see how women don’t come forward to share their support for their own gender. Women like Armeena Khan are definitely setting an example; whereas Rabi Pirzada and the likes are causing the opposite.
Someone had to do it and we are glad that it was Armeena Khan who did it!
Sexual harassment isn’t a joke; it can happen to anyone, anywhere. It doesn’t have to be a rich or a poor woman; it just happens. People need to get this around their heads now and stop questioning the victims.
