Day 3 and Pakistanis are still talking about the season finale track of this year’s Coke Studio, Ko Ko Korina. Performed by Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan, the track did not quite live to everyone’s expectations and Pakistanis were pretty vocal about it.
The Locals Kept Talking About How This Track Is the Worst One of the Entire Season
Inna lillahi wa inna illahi rajioun.
Guys Coke studio passed away after Ahad Raza Mir's debut and ruining Ko Ko Korina with Momina Mustehsan.Rest in peace.

Some Had Their Say on Ahad Raza Mir and Momina Mustehsan
Ko ko korina wasnt that bad. It was just Ahad Raza's singing which means apparently any shower singer is a coke studio singer now.

And Well, this Went a Little Too Far
Just saw n heard Ko Ko Korina, Murdered by Ahad Raza Mir & Momina Mustehsan, in Coke Studio
— Mubasher Lucman (@mubasherlucman) October 22, 2018
Because Coke Studio is one of the biggest musical platforms in Pakistan, everyone follows it, which makes sense why Human Rights Minister Shireen Mazari shared her input on this as well.
The Human Rights Minister Shared How Coke Studio Has Ruined the Legendary Song
Horrendous! Destroyed a great classic – why oh why did Coke Studio allow such a massacre of this classic song?

Even Shireen Mazari received hate for this; many were commenting on how it is the job of the Human Rights Minister to make change in the country, rather than listening to Coke Studio song and making tweets on it.
Shireen Mazari Then Clarified her Stance After the Hate She Received
This is my personal opinion! Nothing to do with HR Ministry! But it certainly was a complete destruction of a wonderful song from a great movie of yesteryears! https://t.co/5S1p6QnZDv

Now Everything Took a Fully Different Turn when Momina Mustehsan Stepped In
The Awari singer couldn’t keep it back while dealing with so much criticism on her song. She came across Shireen Mazari’s tweet and made the following comment:
Apologies for hurting ur sentiments. It is ur right to judge us & express ur outrage, just like it was our right to exercise our #FreedomOfExpression. As our Minister of #HumanRights, u should appreciate @cokestudio for allowing us to express ourselves, esp if it was horrendous 🙂

Now Because Momina Mustehsan Talked About the Ministry, Shireen Mazari Couldn’t Hold Back
I gave my personal opinion which I am entitled to esp on a non pol issue having to do with music. To each his/her own! And why bring the ministry into it?! https://t.co/io9q0y6nAf
— Shireen Mazari (@ShireenMazari1) October 22, 2018
And the Afreen Afreen Singer Felt the Need of Clarifying her Position and Stance Once Again
Momina believed what Shireen Mazari did contributes to the cyber-bullying and the hate she already receives a lot from the Pakistani awaam. On this, she said the following:
When you hold office, its not about politics or his/her own anymore – it’s about the country at large. You represent all of us now, not just yourself or #PTI. In a time when we’re trying to curb cyber-bullying and hate speech, please don’t fuel it further #SocialResponsibility https://t.co/5cX0Z8OaMl
— Momina Mustehsan (@MominaMustehsan) October 22, 2018
And then She Clarified her Stance Again On Cyber-bullying
I never said it was cyber bullying. I said we are in a time when we’re trying to curb it, along with hatespeech, and it’s adding fuel to the fire. Expressing outrage is one one thing, questioning why it was allowed is another, especially coming from the minister for human rights. https://t.co/jF9RLZwnYL

What A Bit Funny Was How Momina Mustehsan Quoted Uncle Ben While Sharing her Point of View
Uncle Ben is a character from Spider-man and well, people started laughing.
As someone holding office, I’d expect you to be more responsible with how you express yourself on public platforms. We look up to you, ma’am, as citizens of this country. Uncle Ben from Spider-Man said “with great power comes great responsibility”. Don’t let us down #NayaPakistan https://t.co/Ghvw5tivkd
— Momina Mustehsan (@MominaMustehsan) October 22, 2018
She Finally Ended the Entire Social Media Debate By Apologising and Clearing herself Once Again
I respect that ma’am – I apologized & acknowledge u had every right to judge & express outrage. I was only answering ur question of why coke studio allowed it. And as someone holding office, I’d hope u’d appreciate the allowance of freedom of expression- however bad it turned out https://t.co/5cX0Z8OaMl
— Momina Mustehsan (@MominaMustehsan) October 22, 2018
Now This Is Where the Pakistanis Started Commenting On this Entire Feud Between Shireen Mazari and Momina Mustehsan
It Never Seemed Like Cyber-bulling, Given Mazari Did Not Name Anyone, But Just Coke Studio
Now if @ShireenMazari1 had liked the song and tweeted in support, it would be a completely different ballgame.
Then, momina mustehsan would probably be retweeting the fuck out of it.
Why is criticism of something genuine now called cyber-bullying?— Rubab(e) (@MizzSheikh) October 23, 2018

can’t believe i seriously got put in the timeline where shireen mazari is roasting momina mustehsan whose comebacks are claiming she’s being cyberbullied and quoting uncle ben from spider-man

Someone Made a Fake Ahad Raza Mir Account and It Made Some Hilarious Claim
I apologise on behalf of @MominaMustehsan to @ShireenMazari1 as she was unable to convey her point. It was my first try and will try to make it better without momina.

So anyway, some people believe it went a little too far with everything between Momina and Mazari and should have spared the singer alone despite the comments everyone was making. It kinda does make sense given the amount of hate Momina, in general, receives which made her believe this way. But nonetheless, criticism needs to be dealt with in a positive manner in all sorts of professions.
