Abida Parveen Is My ‘Spiritual Mother’, Says Jada Smith!

Talking about Sufism Pakistan holds, Abida Parveen was recently called ‘spiritual mother’ by Hollywood’s Jada Pinkett Smith.

Not only the general public but famous celebrities also seem to be going gaga over legendary Abida Parveen. Recently, the Abida Parveen had an international performance which as always, was a hit. Among other personalities, Hollywood actress Jada Smith was also present with sheer love for Abida Parveen. Later, she posted a clip from the performance and called Abida Parveen her ‘spiritual mother’.

On Jada Smith’s uploaded a video of the event with the caption, “My night with my spiritual mother Abida Parveen is one I won’t forget. I see my path.”

Apparently, it’s not something to be shocked as the Sufi legend has been acclaimed at various platforms worldwide. Indeed, the Sufi vocalist deserves all the respect for her impacting role in the music line.

In the recent affair, with a video, Jada Smith even took pictures with Abida Parveen after the concert. The spiritual bond between the two personalities share is evident by Jada’s captions on the Instagram uploads.

This isn’t the first time Will Smith’s wife has shown her love for Pakistan’s Sufi culture. Previously also, Jada Pinkett Smith posted the music video of ‘Chaap Tilak’ from Coke Studio Pakistan on her Instagram.

Tagging both the artists, Jada captioned,

“Abida Parveen and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan are two of my favorite vocalist of Sufi music. This song is called Chaap Tilak and you can go on YouTube to check out the lyrics. They are beautiful.”

Well, even after having a massive entertainment industry with stability, India often gets called out for content theft. Earlier, Pakistani artist Farhan Saeed called out Indian singer Salim Merchant for copying one of his songs. Without a doubt, the originality and soothing tunes of Pakistani songs make the listener groove to the meaningful lyrics.
