In the rest of the world, mostly the Western side, we have seen actors, both male and female, come forward for their support of the #MeToo movement. Unless or until their co-worker has been involved in the controversial case of harassment, celebrities have always shown their woke support for the movement overall.
In Pakistan, however, just like in other South Asian countries, various celebrities have mocked the #MeToo movement here. Strange though – these actors try SO hard to be like Westerners by copying their fashion and even storylines. When it comes to actual humanitarian work, they show their true mentality.
Anyway, Another Pakistani Celebrate to Join the Movement Which Mocks the #MeToo Movement is Mani!
Yes, just like his acting career ended a while ago, the fans decided to end him once he posted the picture. The post ridiculed the founder of #MeToo movement Tarana Burke.
Here’s the Distasteful Post Mani Shared
It is okay Mani, most of the men and sometimes some women also think harassment has everything to do with physical appearance. No wonder why women in abaya and under-aged girls are harassed too. Everything for this lot is about physical appearance, sadly.
Anyway, So the Fans Did Not Have Any Mercy on the Host
Shocking to say, quite a number of sensible people follow Mani. They made sure to school him over this post though.
And It Continued!
The Picture Was There for At Least 20 Hours
We thought Hira Mani was shitty to steal her bestfriend‘s man but her husband is the one who’s actually trash on another level. pic.twitter.com/3w4Vgcewuo

Oops
Pakistani actor Salman Saqib Sheikh, better known to us all as Mani, posted this on Instagram to mock the #MeToo movement.
Apparently it's not enough being a horrible actor. You have to be a worthless trash of a human being as well. pic.twitter.com/gK2Kk78SUr

However, Just Recently Mani Posted a Tweet in Which he Claims that he Was Not Behind this Post
The actor claims that his PR person shared the post and apologised to everyone.
I would like to inform all my followers that I am not very much active on social media and was not aware that any such pic is posted on my instagram. Would like to apologize on behalf of my PR guy who posted it by mistake. Please do help us improve in all aspects of life

He Also Posted a Video to Clarify his Stance
Well, we don’t know what the truth is, but let’s forgive Mani for apologising soon enough, something a number of celebrities here lack.
