While this year’s Ramadan transmission has been strictly monitored by PEMRA, Amir Liaquat already got a notice from the organization. Despite then, he continues hosting the Ramadan special show on BOL channel.
As one of the guests, Ayesha Omer embraced her presence on the show. Amir Liaquat was thrilled to welcome her to the show – he presented all the laurels and achievements Ayesha Omer has conquered all this time in this industry.
However, Amir Liaquat Made A Number of Blunders While Introducing Ayesha Omer and She Kept Pointing them Out
For example, the host said that Ayesha Omer won the best album award and honored her talent, but Ayesha Omer corrected him by saying that her album won the best production award, not best singer or album award.
The biggest blunder he made was while talking about Ayesha Omer’s horrible accident 2.5 years ago. Amir Liaquat mentioned first that Ayesha Omer was with Ali Zafar when the accident took place and Ayesha Omer instantly corrected him that she was with Azfar Rehman, not Ali Zafar.
Amir Liaquat started talking about Showbiz entertainers have a dignity and standard as well. He mentioned how when Ayesha Omer met the accident, she wasn’t allowing anyone else to help or touch her. The context Amir Liaquat was applying was how the entertainers have dignity and they don’t allow strangers to touch them despite being in such an industry which is frowned upon. In short, he tried to paint Ayesha Omer as a pious individual despite being an artist.
But Ayesha Omer Had a Different Reason for her Reaction During this Incident!
Ayesha shared that the reason for not allowing people to touch her wasn’t because they were strangers, but because she was afraid they might kidnap her or steal something from her. She mentioned how it was a traumatic event and her mind was flickering to all sorts of negative ideas, such as a stranger kidnapping her. She entirely shunned the fake impression Amir Liaquat was trying to imply and told the truth in front of live media.
