Famous bollywood singer, Neha Kakkar did something us Pakistanis just can’t get over. In a recent music concert in Dallas, Texas held in Appna’s convention, the gorgeous singer sang Sajjad Ali’s song ‘Har Zulm’ and our hearts just skipped beats right there and then.
This is not the first time that Indians have appreciated or given a tribute to us Pakistanis. This has been happening since the time Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan was alive and made a place in everyone’s minds and hearts with his deep Qawwalis from ‘Kina Sona’ to ‘Rashke Qamar’.
Besides this, many singers like Momina Mustehsan and Indian singer, Arjun Kanungo had also recently collaborated on a new song, “Aaya Na Tu”. The song was an instant hit and we loved every single line of this touching song.
Not only Indians, but the entire world was crazy after his Qawwalis and still are to this day. There is no doubt that both Pakistan and India is full of talented singers and musicians and we all love listening to both Bollywood and Lollywood songs, especially when both the countries collide on a project.

As soon as she began singing the song, she took a pause and said a few words that made us Pakistanis fall in love with her even more! With her super mesmerizing vocals, she then began singing the song and the crowd started hooting for her for giving a tribute to Sajjad Ali.
These were the words that came out of her mouth as soon as she started singing the first few words of the song:
“Oh my God, Sajjad Ali is such an amazing singer, I think he is just too good.”
This moment was captured on video and we played it on repeat to hear not just what she had to say about Sajjad Ali, but how beautifully she had sung his song:
“Mai doob raha hun, dooba nhi hun, Har zulm tera yaad hai bhula tou nhi hoon”
These lyrics just hit us like an arrow straight to the heart.
