Serving the revival mode of the entertainment industry with dedication, recently, the most anticipated drama serial made under the umbrella of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) by Momina Duraid (MD) Productions, Ehd e Wafa’s first episode went on air on Sunday and it sure provided the audience with a major flashback to the Alpha Bravo Charlie days.

The startling performances by the actors and on-point dialogue delivery with a layer of balanced expressions just enhanced the essence of the Military scoops. The main leading cast of the television drama series includes Ahad Raza Mir portrayed as Saad, Ahmed Ali Akber playing the role of Sheharyar, Osman Khalid Butt coming in as Shahzain and Wahaj Ali as Shariq. Taking the female protagonists of the serial, Zara Noor Abbas is playing Raani while the drama has Alizeh Shah rolling in as Dua.
Since the Alpha Bravo Charlie’s rumored sequel Ehd E Wafa coming to Hum TV, Pakistanis went totally crazy over it. The release of the first episode of the much-awaited TV show gave in all the right feels of the hit Pakistani creation Alpha Bravo Charlie of the 90’s era. Starting the episode from the Special Sevice Group (SSG) boys Shahzain, Saad, Sheharyar, and Shariq getting caught while trying to escape their hostel and the strategy they use to deal with the principal was the exact portrayal of how the contrary ‘cool gang’ of the college actually is.

Standing in the principal’s office and backing each other while dealing with the situation in humor, the scene was so intense that it kept the viewers hooked to their TV screens. It was sure a delight to witness the actual representation of college-going students and the silly activities they get involved in during that era. The amazing acting and totally getting into the character created a real-life stance and managed to gather praises nationwide.
Momina Duraid being one of the finest directors of Pakistan didn’t disappoint the audience this time either. Showing Osman Khalid Butt who is playing Shahzain in the serial as the leader of the squad and the synchronized chemistry built among them deserves to be lauded. The top-notch representation of young SSG commandos and the implementation of an extremely diluted real life in a drama serial perfectly brought the characters to life.
Zara Noor Abbas and Alizeh Shah as the leading female cast of the series!
In the episode, the story revolving around the female leads portrayed Zara Noor Abbas holding a talkative nature of a college-going girl called Raani. Outcasting everyone coming in her way, Raani is carrying the mark of the most interesting character in Ehd e Wafa. On the other hand, the talented Alizeh Shah is playing confidently and her character Dua inherits a full of life attitude with a charming personality. The execution of every story built around each character is so appealing that people are anxiously waiting for the second one to come out soon.
Among all scenes the episode held, there’s one shot that has literally created a totally separate fanbase. Having Ahad Raza Mir (Saad) in the frame with his adorable pet Golden Retriever talking about life stuff is just another cute addition to the story. Saad showing his never-ending affection for his dog and the unconditional love he has for the pet got the viewers in sheer ‘awe’ and we couldn’t help it either.

The targeted humor, amazing acting, and show of perfectly balanced emotions fulfilled all the promises the teasers were making.
