When it comes to the newcomers getting a shot in the entertainment industry, talent agencies play a huge role. They have the potential to shape a talented individual and at times, even break them for reasons that sometimes are less professional in nature.

The recent debacle between Iqra Aziz and a local talent agency called Citrus Talent rose a few days ago; where the CEO of the agency, Fahad Hussain legally served the young actress after claims of breaching the contract. Fahad Hussain, in addition to the legal notice, also provided evidence in the post he made on his social media account.

“Legal Notice issued to Iqra Aziz (Actor):

My lawyer has served a legal notice on Ms. Iqra Aziz as she breached the Talent Exclusivity Agreement dated 14 June 2017 and bypassed Citrus Talent by locking an ad through Ms. Maida Azmat of Mint PR and Image Consultancy. This was done despite the fact that Iqra and Maida were repeatedly reminded about the contractual obligations of Iqra towards Citrus Talent. The said legal notice has been served on other individuals, including Ms. Maida Azmat of Mint PR and Image Consultancy for tortious interference and inducing Iqra Aziz to breach exclusivity contract.

It’s disappointing to know that someone like Iqra can cheat us like this for greed….”

In Response to the Legal Notice Served to Iqra Aziz, She Then Filled her Case and Served Legal Notice to Fahad Hussain and Co. As a Counter

“I deny all accusations put forward against me by Fahad Hussain of Citrus Talent for breaching the contract. I have been in the industry long enough to know how to do fair business and I am not one to shy away from the truth. The legal system is something I have deep faith in and Inshallah I will receive the justice I deserve through a Court of Law. For reference, I have attached the legal notice that has been sent as a reply.”

With Iqra Aziz Denying All the Allegation, Fahad Hussain Shares his Disappointment, Persistent On his Claims!

“I am extremely saddened, hurt and disappointed with the kind of response Iqra has posted on social media. I want to ask you Iqra:

“Jab tum court mein aaogi aur ‘Kalma’ parh ke ‘Quran Paak’ pe haath rakh ke bologi ke tum jo bhi kaho gi woh sach hoga to kya tum iss baat ko jhutla do gi ke tum ne hamare saath koi 7 years contract sign kiya thaa?”

Given the amount of heat this entire fiasco has gained, safe to say, the matter will be resolved in the light of court and law only now.
