The unjust that happens with the daughter in laws in our society isn’t unknown. There are many, if not all, families who treat their daughter in laws in an inhumane manner. The society, on the other hand, tells the daughter to be patient. It would tell her to do every “command” they have just to please them – just to make sure that she doesn’t end up getting divorced.

But Does It Always Have To Be This Way?

Here’s the story of Saba, as narrated by her brother. Saba passed away two days ago and as said by her in-laws, she killed herself. Saba’s brother believes she was killed by her inhumane inlaws.

“With a very deep heart, I am uploading this story on social media- a story of my Sister who died a day before yesterday.

Well, Saba was my elder sister we had a great bonding and we were close to each other, we shared everything.  Saba was sharp, smart and intelligent, she passed her Matric from Akbar Public School and secured A1 grade, after that she got admission in Sir Syed Government Girls College. She completed intermediate after that she started teaching at City Smart School in Nursery Section. She was intelligent and had a lively personality.

While she was teaching a Rishta came for her, my dadi friend lives in same society she asked my dadi for saba then they planned a meeting and after that she got married on 13 Feb 2014 at the age of 21. After some months saba started telling us about the extreme change in her lifestyle. She felt of no value at her in-laws. We tried to make her understand that things will change.

Her father in law scolded her and used slang like (MC) (BC) (kanjar) etc. Regarding her Father in law i always asked her to be patient as he is 80 years old. Her mother in law used to say kalii moti and giving tanaay was a normal thing.

Things started to change when Saba had her first baby boy named Mustafa. But they still scolded her ”hmarae ghar ki aulad nahi” just because he was dark in color. Well she use to cook food for like 20 people at a time, as it was a joint family. Having a kid and managing all this was a big hassle but still she did it. And with all this she had to maintain herself and manage everything. Everyday their was a fight, susral walay were so demanding. ”Dawat mangtay thay mun khol kay , abhi bhi 4 din phelay iftar party ka bola tha unhoounay”.

We used to call them 14-15 times in a year. But still they use to ask Saba for dawat. Then Saba had another kid Abdul Rehman. The child was delivered before time, as saba’s saas wanted to go to Quetta for her daughter’s delivery, the baby was pre-mature and had a 7mm hole in his heart, as saba was not good if saba weared something infront of everyone saba saaas ( yea kya phena ha change kro) like stuff then father in law died, things suddenly get changed they were happy small fights happens sometime they were living a happly life but behaviour of mother in law and that work and everything was same.

6 months later Akram slap saba and aesa kae uska ear was bleeding he beats her so hard kicking her and slapping her she use to say ami mein puri koshish kr rhi hun kae in sbh ko khuhs rkh sakun, lalch was there everything was there before this ramzan they both a had a fight upon room is dirty.

Akram called abu and abu made both understand and came back and day before yesterday at 5:30 we received call from them that saba hum mein nhi rahi, saba ka intiqal hogyaa and stated that she claimed suicide mention after a month there is a marriage of my younger sister, and she was so acting day before yesterday i had a word with her she was telling me planing for mehndi and everything, come back the incident happens at 2 they told us at 5 :30 pm because aga khan was only giving death body to blood relation warna yea log ghr mein death body lae atay kafan phena kae, ya dafan krtay boltay bhag gai, saba ek prhi likhi larki yea hrkat kbhi nhi kr sakti sbh kae bayan mein difference ha

In-Laws mein dusra , Now they saaf she was a mad, Sbh jhut a mujhhae meri bhen kae sth insaaf chyae mein yea yahan kaisae likh rha hun mujhae pata ha mgr kal ko kisi kae sth aesa hou acha nhi mardiya meri bhen ko suicide woh nhi kr sakti PLz share as much as you can and make it viral , MEIN NAE APNI BHEN KA JHANAZA UTHAYA HA WOH BHT BHARI THA MEIN NHI CHTA YEA KISI KAE STH HOU MERI BHEN KO INSAF MILAE”

There’s Now Some Progress In Saba’s Case As Well
