Following the accident, a crowd surrounded Malik’s car, angered by recent fatal accidents in the city. In a video shared online, the mob is seen taking Malik’s phone and demanding she pay for damages. Despite the tension, Malik pleaded for the return of her phone to call for help, assuring the crowd she wasn’t trying to flee.
