Government is done playing its part by looting this nation and country over and over again. Now sections of people from us are woken up to do the rest of the job left undone by the government. Yes, I am talking about online shopping pages and people doing business online.

Despite knowing the fact that a few people are doing a great job and serving people in a true sense, it is very appropriate for housewives who intend to stand side by side with their husbands to earn a better living. Also, there are too many students who want to earn a good pocket money or want to lower the burden of their family financially. And, we cannot neglect the online crooks who are robbing innocent people around. Showing pictures of international stuff and sending you things which are not even worth a glance!

I am Eram, a 25-year-old doing my post graduation in the field of Microbiology. I belong to a humble family background as many of us do, and I oath to deliver you people with my experience of online shopping with all honesty and accuracy!

There is this page called shopstation.pk and they have around 100,000 followers. Seeing the number of followers on their page, I was convinced that they are genuine I forgot to notice the review section which was disabled.What I also noticed was that there was no proper address or location given on the page. I also neglected the fact that they did not provide any contact number as well.

Moving on, I inboxed them on their Facebook page to place my order which was a pretty good deal. Anyway, I  received my parcel overnight and I was quite happy with their service. Now, this is where all the drama begins. As soon as I opened the parcel, I felt insulted. I felt somebody has slapped me with all that trust and acclamations I showered on the admin of that page. You can call it an electronically connected thappar. Lol. There was a thing which didn’t even deserve a glance.

Now, I contacted them on their page complaining them about the stuff. At first, they tried to calm me down but I kept asking them for their WhatsApp number. They provided me a number and blocked me from the messenger. I contacted them with their number provided but they never responded. Today, by chance, I opened my other message option in messenger just to view random message requests from unknown people I received 2-3 requests. When talking to them, I came to know that they are the victims too and they are requesting me not to shop from them. But it was too late.

After doing a little research, I found there are plenty of people complaining about this page in different groups. I tried to contact different influential pages but nobody listened to me. All the proofs have been attached. Kindly report the above-mentioned page! Let’s just say it’s not about money, it’s about ethics but I would say it is about money because earning money is not a hot cup of tea. How come someone I don’t even know can make a fool out of me?

Yes. I know you guys would say why did I even shop online in the first place? Okay, I accept that I had bad experiences in the past too, I should have prevented myself from ordering online but does this justify those bluffers?

At the end, please don’t waste your hard earned money on these crooks. Take out a few minutes of your life and do proper research about the authenticity of a page. Never, I repeat, never ever buy from pages that don’t have their review section enabled, a proper location and a valid phone number.
