The cab culture in Pakistan is on the rise. With the two major cab companies setting their foot in Pakistan, the ease and traveling convenience they offer to Pakistanis belonging to different walks of life has made daily accommodation much easier.

A lot of people talked about how the cab companies were only a beneficial service for male drivers only. Due to a much better screening process, cab company Careem recently encouraged women to join in as female captains. Various women have come out to use their driving skills for better use. However rarely you may see a female captain, whenever you would, she’d have a story that will win your heart.

Noshi Noreen – a Female Cab Driver Striving to Make this World a Better Place!

Co-founder of Women’s Hub Pakistan Aisha Sarwani booked a ride today and to her surprise, was assigned to a female captain Noshi Noreen.

Miss Noshi Noreen shared that she is currently a Masters’ student who wishes to start teaching once she is done with the degree.

Driving a cab in Pakistan is no longer a taboo – well-educated people use their driving skills by putting it to the better use and Miss Noshi is doing the same. This educated individual stands for women empowerment and her very own example enlists the reasons why we need it.

Miss Noshi Noreen lost her husband and to do something on her own, she started working as a Careem captain. Not only is this brave lady earning, but also studying to emerge in a more educated field.

Why Miss Noshi’s example stands out the most in today’s shared news on social media is because women like her create an example for others to follow. By others, you may include men as well. Men who do not allow their women to prosper and limit them, putting dust on their skills and potential.
