Each time we hear the news of a couple who recently got married but passed away haunts us with immense sadness. Similar to this is the news which is going viral on social media, the tragic death of Syeda Fatime and her husband Syed Shoaib Hassan.

The couple got married on 29th November, 2018 and were on their honeymoon in Hunza. However, their married life had a short span; the couple breathed their last just yesterday and today the news of death broke the internet.

29-year-old Syeda Fatime and her 31-year-old husband passed away due to gas leakage in their hotel in a Hunza rental.

Syeda Fatime was working as an assistant director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad. She was in the 42nd Common Training Program (CTP) and was working in the civil service since 2014. She was also honored with a bronze medal in the 35th Specialized Diplomatic Course. On the other hand, Shoaib Hassan, the husband served as an assistant manager.

This raises awareness on how hotels need be vigilant towards their rooms and the services they offer. Had there been proper checking, the couple would have survived this tragic incident. This indeed breaks our heart, especially knowing how they had gotten married just 10 days ago.
