A dreamy marriage proposal?? Hayeee… Don’t we all just love it? 

At some point in our lives, we’ve all dreamed of being proposed for marriage in public. Isn’t it? Years of watching romantic Bollywood and Lollywood movies, pubic proposals have become every girl’s dream and why should it not be? Imagine a guy expressing his love in front of hundreds of people, down on his knees, asking you to marry him?

And what happens next? Are you going to say yes? Are you going to say no? IS HE EVEN THE RIGHT PERSON? Is it too soon?

The reality is something else. At least for some.

Public marriage proposals aren’t always fun, romantic or magical. What if your partner says NO? Maybe it’s too soon for them? And what if that person doesn’t want to get married at all? OUCH. And to be very honest, no one would want it to turn out as a humiliating failure! That’s for sure!

However, public proposals aren’t inherently awful! If everyone involved loves the idea, then go ahead! But it’s pretty easy for something to go wrong, or you making a boo boo. So, before you get down on one knee in public, ask yourself the following questions:

But come on you guys, before you plan on asking the big question, do you ask your self the following questions:

1. Does your partner actually want to get married to you?
2. Is your partner ready for the BIG decision?
3. Did you even speak to your partner about it before popping the BIG question?

If the answer to any of these questions is “no,” do NOT make the move. Talk to your partner first if whether or not, you two even want to get married to each other. If yes, how soon or late? And mainly, ask your partner if they’re comfortable with a public proposal. No, of course, you don’t have to make things obvious but be smart about it. 

So, what to do? If you’ve received positive answers to the above-mentioned questions, then only, you can start preparing to get down on one knee in public! If not, then brace yourself to go viral on the internet in ‘proposal gone wrong’ video! Yikes! You really don’t want that to happen!
