About time these good-for-nothing morning shows wrap up and end their business for good, right?

These morning shows, at least most of them are nothing but a social battle of wearing branded labels and dissing the lesser privileged. What’s the concept of inviting girls over the sets, making them dress up as brides and then choosing a winner? How is this remotely beneficial to anyone watching or participating in the show?

In the holy month of Ramadan, these shows will encourage how families should focus on getting married in a rather simple, less expensive manner. The rest of the 11 months of the year, these shows act as a complete guide of how to become a puppet of this society – what expensive designer to wear? What expensive makeup studio to go to? How to look “perfect” on your wedding by caking your face with 100 kilos of makeup?

In today’s episode of how trashy the mindset of this society is, you will see Shaista Lodhi starring in her morning show, wearing some designer wear and being a laughing stock while ridiculing chubby and short girls.

The designer who appeared on today’s episode of the morning show was sharing how most of the outfits they make for the showcase are of size zero. The custom-made orders obviously vary based on the order of the bride. After the designer, Kashif shared how the clothes are made for size-zero models, Shaista Lodhi states, “Kashif, aapki himmat hai Phir Hume ye kapre pehn’na. Motiyo ko aur gitthiyo ko.”

In her defense, she was obviously just referring to herself by adding “hume” to it. But publicly calling out on a distinct feature of women and bashing them while having a laugh? Utterly disgraceful.

Not the first time some host has bashed the traits of women on live tv. Signifying and speaking about others based on their color, height, and other physical trait has happened before and given how these hosts never stop, it is just appalling to see them few days later speak on how the society narrows done the beauty of someone based on their looks.
