In an interview, Shoaib Malik once mentioned how he is lucky to be married to a woman as strong as a Sania. He also mentioned that that being married to a sportswoman, someone of the same profession as Malik himself, allows him to spend his days at peace because they both understand the pressure and the pleasure of the game.

Married for years, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik sure know how to keep everyone impressed by their relationship. They travel together, hang out with friends together and most of all, they are together for each other.
