Sonali Bendre’s medical condition was declared to be not so good as she’s been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. This is a type of cancer that spreads into the other parts of the body by the bloodstream from the original area of cancer.
After which, everyone from Bollywood fraternity sent her prayers and wishes. They called her a true “fighter” after she chopped her hair short from the long beautiful locks. She later told her son about her condition, and how he very maturely understood.
It’s been a month since she’s been diagnosed with this dangerous disease, but a good news has just arrived.
Sonali’s husband tweeted about how she’s doing good and is in stable condition
The beautiful soul that she is! We have never seen someone with this positive spirit when battling with something so unpredictable
This is what she wrote and she’s happy at the moment. What else could be better than this?
“This is me. And at this moment, I am really happy. People give me strange looks when I say that now, but it’s true and I’ll tell you why. I am now paying attention to every moment, looking for every opportunity to find joy and #SwitchOnTheSunshine. Yes, there are moments of pain and low energy, but I am doing what I like, spending time with people I love, and feeling very loved and happy. I am extremely grateful to my friends, my pillars of strength, who at a moment’s notice, arrived to be with me and help me through this. In between their busy schedules they find time to visit, call, message, FaceTime… basically never leaving a moment for me to feel alone. The journey is tough but she’s a fighter. A happy one! This smile of hers is priceless and timeless!

While Sonali is recovering properly, Irrfan Khan is battling neuroendocrine cancer. This is a rare form of cancer that engulfed him.
He says that he has 7 chemos in a total of which 3 are done and the scan is still is positive
We pray that like Sonali, Irrfan too gets out of this lethal disease and declares it a win! Sonali and Irrfan are true inspirations, their overlook in life in this tough time is just amazing. They are being positive and looking at life from a different angle; irrespective of the healing that they are receiving through medicine. They are healing spiritually. May God protect you both!
