This Pakistani “Drag Queen’s” Performance In a Stand-up Comedy Show Left Everyone in Cold Sweat

Pakistan is a perfect blend of colors, flavors, fragrances, art and what not. And to better explain Pakistan; Karachi would be the right example. Here, we have everything – people of all ethnicities, religion, caste, and creed. Here, we have all kinds of foods from continental to Asian to the right kind of desi street food. And to many, this city never ceases to amaze people.

You can expect anything from this city, literally anything. This time, Karachi hosted the most unexpected kind of comedy show – “Liberals ki Adhi Sazish”. In this show, they invited a drag queen to perform. And, Miss P. Chattni was eye-catching, just when she walked on the stage. This Lahori transgender with some kickass makeup and typical marathi saari entered and made people’s jaws drop.

When the discussion started about her sizzling sex life, people in the audience were in cold sweat. Since, in a typical Pakistani setting, such jokes are either behind closed doors or within close friends but over here it was a public comedy show.

Miss P. Chattni’s distinction between Lahori and Karachittie boys amazed everyone in the audience

She even said how Lahori boys would fall in love after a one night stand but a Karachitte would not even bother texting back. Miss P. Chattni’s bold style and perfect humor kept the audience entertained throughout her performance.

She also talked about the deep-rooted patriarchy and pseudo-masculinity; telling her experience of how once she got herself out of a situation where she was being molested by 12 men.

Chattni came in to greet the audience by saying, “Hello, to all the woman and gay men, but all these straight men, wtf are you guys doing here?” Her main target was to roast the straight Pakistani men. And they fully enjoyed and agreed to many things.

Hoping to have her perform to a much larger audience in the future. Cheers. 😉
