No matter how often one travels, airports always hold a frightening stance because of the rushy checkpoints and strict rules. Since the landing and taking off of planes keeps the world airports busy 24/7, many incidents and unusual events occur too. Moving forward, recently, an old foreign woman became the talk of the town after she laid down in protest against the Islamabad airport authoritative following her deportation.

After getting deported by the officials, an old lady started protesting at the Islamabad Airport!

Apparently, since Pakistan’s capital airport got lavishly renovated, several ‘unexpected’ events have been reported until now. Back in October, the airport had turned into a fighting ring after the Airport Security Force (ASF) officials got into a brawl with some passengers. Last Sunday, another such incident came in when an American woman laid down in protest at the Islamabad airport after getting deported.

While the reason for her deportation remains unknown, the airport authorities got tensed after seeing the lady on the floor. However, even after hours of convincing from the airport staff, the woman was not ready to leave the airport. Eventually, considering it as the airport’s security breach, the staff then reached out to the American embassy for help.

The blacklisted lady flew from Manchester to Islamabad in PIA!

After being allegedly blacklisted by the Pakistani authorities, the woman was denied entry into the country. According to media reports, the 70-years-old American flew from Manchester to Islamabad in Pakistan International Airline (PIA). Upon her arrival, the Islamabad airport was in chaos as the woman started screaming and then laid down.

Being old and fragile, the airport staff to stay clean directly called the American embassy to resolve the matter. Well, this ain’t anything new for the airport security team as they face cases worse than this on a daily basis. Apparently, as per the protestor’s passport, the 70-years-old woman was born in the United States’ capital city Washington, D.C.

Well, according to the lady’s passport, her name is Maude Murray born in the year 1939 which makes it 70 years as of now. This isn’t the first unusual thing to witness at the newly renovated Islamabad Airport. Back in July, an aunt and her niece posed as a ‘lesbian couple’ to clear through the confirmation desk but got arrested. Soon the news was on the mainstream media as today’s media spares no one.
