Getting glued to TV screens on Wednesday at 8:00 p.m.? Having a major crush on the hero? Well, that is the case of the majority of Pakistani girls nowadays. No doubt, the actor Ahad Raza Mir has become a heartthrob these days due to his role in ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’ as Dr. Asfandyar. He is literally the talk of the town.
Just mention his name to the girl next to you and she will be like, “Hayyyyeee Ahaddd Raza Mirrrr? Hayye Alllahhhh he is sooo freaking handsome yaar”. In fact, this is his role as Dr. Asfandyar in the drama which has made the girls go all crazy for him. Let’s look at some factors that how Dr. Asfi is actually the man of your dreams:
1. First of all, he is a daaacter!
The hype of doctor rishtaas and doctor bahus in Pakistan never gets old. And Asfandyar is one amazing doctor! He is the doctor that will make you desperately say ‘ Sahib, mere dil ka ilaaj krdein’, or ‘Dr. Sahib, apko dekh ker mera B.P low hojata hai’.
2. Damn, he is so good looking
‘Holy moly, somebody pinch me, he is handsome AF.’ With all those gorgeous hair and well-maintained beard, Dr. Azfi manages to land straight in the hearts. Anyways, who doesn’t like a hot doctor?
3. He Sings As Well, Multi-Talented Banda Hai Yaar!
Remember the time he was singing and playing the guitar at his parents’ anniversary when the sad incident of his brother took place? And the time he sang at his nephew’s birthday? How romantic was that!
4. He dresses so well
Let’s just ignore the fact for now that well-dressed actors actually mean hardworking designers. Just take a look at Dr. Asfi. Doesn’t he look so freaking good in his fitted collared shirts? And when he wore those green scrubs while operating over a patient (scrubs are part of hospital’s protocols, I know. But how many doctors actually look good in them?) Recall the scene when he had wrapped grey shawl around him while he was telling Faryal that he is no longer in love with her. Dressing sense so on point. Right?
5. Geeeez, he is romantic
Doesn’t his style of romance make you skip a beat? Looking at Dr. Zubiya again and again while singing a song, caring for her, holding her hands to help her cross the bridge and steep areas, makes you wish that you were Dr. Zubiya. The way he looks at Dr. Zubiya, all shades of love literally get combined in one enticing look.
6. He is the ‘Khadoos boss’
Remind yourselves the time when Dr. Zubiya used to tell Geeti how khadoos his boss Dr. Asfandyar is. Well, this just makes him more attractive. He is really professional and strict, always demanding his employees to ‘do more.’ He just cannot tolerate mistakes in work. And we observed the next level of his professionalism when he operated and saved the life of a child of the woman, who was the cause of his brother’s death. (while the doctor’s oath was going on in the background)
7. He is a family person
He loves his family, his parents, bhabi, and nephew. He used to have a great bond with his brother, Barrister Danyal. While most of the boys try to find ways to escape their families, he cares for all of them. He plays with his nephew, talks with his bhabi and obeys his parents.
8. He is Rich
Many of us remind ourselves that we aren’t materialistic, money is a secondary thing. But we do look at the financial status of the boy. Apparently, Dr. Asfandyar owns the hospital in Murree. How cool is that!
9. His Family is your ultimate in-laws’ goals
His family is your in-laws’ goals. His parents are sweet and educated. They are not like typical parents who interfere and criticize everything you do. And when his mother asked Dr. Zubiya, “Beta apni khala ka address dena. Meh unhein kahungi k hum zubiya ko apny bety ki dulhan bnana chahty hein”. GOALS YAR, GOALS.
10. He is courageous
He took stand for the gunshot woman and filed a case against the gangsters of Murree. He bravely faced them on the bridge, with people showing support for him. Finally, he made them back out and got the shooter arrested. How badass is that!
11. His transformation
He transformed and groomed himself from the long-haired, careless boy to a good-looking mature man. The transformation was not only physically but mentally also. We watched him grow into a mature, responsible and caring Dr. Asfandyar that we all adore now. So apparently, your phopo ka beta has hopes too.
12. He lives in Murree
Asfi lives with his family in Murree, the official honeymoon spot of Pakistan. Well, Murree has breath-taking landscapes and beautiful weather throughout the year. Who doesn’t want to live in Murree? NOT ME.
So, isn’t Dr. Asfi just Mr. Perfect?
