A daughter is her father’s best friend. This special bond is heaven-sent and cannot be undone. When a girl is just a little child, her father is her superhero with powers to make anything possible and when the same girl grows up into a young lady, the superhero becomes her best friend and confidant.

Fathers may not be as expressive as the mothers, but their hearts melt at the sight of their daughters that they raise with so much care. It becomes almost daunting for them to envision them leaving the nest. The same was the case with actor Adnan Siddiqui who couldn’t get over the thought of being separated from her eldest daughter who was leaving on a solo trip to Turkey.

It’s as if he has spoken for all fathers that have to bid farewell to their daughters. Adnan Siddiqui who is a top-class Pakistani actor has shown a side of himself that is lesser-known. However, not out of the ordinary. What did take everyone by surprise is how candid he was about his feelings; he explained how much is missing her daughter who hasn’t even left and what would he do when she gets married. Simply adorable!

Maryam Jaan is how he refers to her daughter and writes, “It’s very rare that my children become a reason of my sadness. But today- all day I’ve spent missing my elder daughter Maryam Jaan even before she set off for her first solo trip.”

Adnan isn’t taking these precious moments with her daughter for granted and is making every chance count. In his note on Instagram, he contemplates all the adorable ways he will miss her daughter; almost as if he is in disbelief that his daughter will be leaving him soon.

He continues, “Never thought this would happen to me so soon, that one she’ll be gone and I’ll miss her. May be I’ll be sitting like this and penning my emotions… may be I’ll be looking at her childhood album.. I’m reminded of the day she was born and I held her for the first time…I didn’t even know how to hold a baby. Then her first day of school and today she’s embarking on another first- going for her first solo trip to Turkey.”

His message for his daughter depicts their beautiful bond!

Dear Maryam Jaan, may you make many memories and have an amazing trip. May you come back with more adventures and knowledge. I guess it’s officially time to let you start doing things by yourself and I cannot help but think of the day when you’ll be married. Till then let’s have more father-daughter adventures, more discussions on books and poetry, more long walks and more hugs!

More importantly, he writes about the instructions his daughter left for her dog’s routine and Adnan even uploads a picture of it. CUTE!

I guess parents never take a moment to think that one day their precious little girls will leave them until the moment comes and hits them hard. Adnan Siddiqui clearly wasn’t prepared. However, he does get brownie points for coping with it through an Instagram post, however, this isn’t the first time the actor doted over his children online. The amount of support and love he received surely get him in high spirits.
