There is always this stereotype surrounding female celebrities that are mothers in their personal lives. In a nutshell, that general idea translates into them not being great mothers because of their work commitments. Which is in its entirety, is a ridiculous stereotype. Ayeza Khan, who is a very successful actress, revealed her daily routine on an Instagram post; which bursts many bubbles of perceived notions.
Ayeza Khan, much like any working mother, wants to stay close to her children whenever possible. Women have long been underestimated and whatever they do, criticism follows; to the point, that even their ‘motherhood’ is questioned. Which is quite despicable. Yes, of course, there are females that hardly give their children the time of their day, but you cannot generalize an entire group on the basis of a few bad eggs.
We are all guilty of imagining celebrity mommas with a lavish lifestyle that includes many house helpers, nannies and what not. However, Ayeza, on the other hand, discloses how her daily-routine is anything but glamorous.
Ayeza sleeps for 4 hours max, does mommy-chores, spends quality time with the husband and on repeat; a superwoman?
Without a doubt. Every mother whether a house-maker or with a job is a superwoman, to be able to handle everything perfectly. ‘Merey Paas Tum Ho’ actress wrote about her regular day that starts off at 7 AM, followed by her making and packing lunch for her school-going daughter. She then drops her off to her school, gets back, wakes Rayan up, feeds him and then drops him off to her mother’s.
Moreover, she wrote, adding to her routine which just started, “then having breakfast with my husband and leaving for the work and in btw try to come home whenever possible and, monitoring the kids on phone all day and coming back to home”
By this time, we are all thinking of our own mothers that brought us up on one leg, never complaining when they are sick. Truly, motherhood is beautiful and so is every dedicated, loving and caring mother out there.
Ayeza continued, “again feeding, bathing, choosing the princess or batman night-suit every night, listening hoorain’s bedtime stories or phirrrrrrrrrr removing the makeup and dinner date with my favorite person and sleeping at 3am and again waking up at 7.”
Wow! In the middle of all of this, she manages to create beautiful scenes with her incredible acting; which isn’t an easy job either. Moreover, this superwoman is quite bold and strong-headed in her response. Why wouldn’t she be? Especially if it is about her own child. Someone called her daughter ugly and Ayeza clapped back.
Motherhood is a full-time job and these strong-willed ladies are managing their careers and home, perfectly. The notion of them handing over their children solely in the care of nannies may be true for some but not for all. So salute to every woman struggling to strike a balance between her ambitions, motherhood, marriage, and home. You are all amazing in your own way and never for a second let yourself feel guilty for not doing ‘enough’!
