Just like study and work are important in life, so is the party! Every day we wake up like robots and get ready to run in the rat race we have been running for years. We are quite accustomed to the same routine and are very comfortable with what’s going on. Generally, it is a human trait that any slight changes in life are a little difficult digest. Hajmola chahiye hoti hai!
But no matter how we are easy with things in our normal routine, no one would say a “no” to a party!
Like the so-called workaholics that we have become, the majority of us are unaware of these new year eve’s parties. And then when a friend tries to drag us to this last minute party, we can’t just deny it. And in a desi household, YOU HAVE TO tell about such plans in advance.
So, we make excuses and tell lies about the party that really want to go.
1. Combined studies
Just try to act serious when you are telling your parents that you’re going to study over your friend’s place. And do not forget to bring your calculator along; otherwise, you’d be caught!
2. The car broke down
So, if you are outside someplace, and your friend has this plan for an amazing party that you can’t deny. Just call your mom that the car broke down and it’s a serious issue so the mechanic will take a few hours to fix it. Utilize these few hours and ENJOYZ!
3. A friend met an accident
Oh, come on! At every critical moment where we need to steal some time, we always bring our friend’s leg into it. Not literally, but matlab dost ka accident yar, ammi samjha karein.
4. Work at office
What better reason can you find than this? Would anybody question this? NO! You are good to go. *cheer claps*
5. Going to attend a shadi
Shadi hai yar ki, haven’t had my shopping! Just sneak out for shopping and enter the party like a bossss! And if by any chance your mom decides to come along, tell ammi jan that it’s girl day out soooo… HEHE!
As cliched as these excuse may seem, but all have used these! ADMIT THAT! These are the century-old excuses that are suitable and fool-proof generation after generation.
