I received a call from Colonel ABC for the job interview. He asked me to come at a given address (in Islamabad). At first, I wondered if going to a residential area for an interview is okay or not. Then, I got a message from the CEO XYZ who is based in Karachi that I was selected from 700 candidates, so I went ahead for the interview. The day when I went for the interview, there was not a single person in their office except a 17-year-old office boy.

Initially, Colonel ABC interviewed me and then CEO XYZ and I was immediately hired. It used to take me an hour to commute per side as the location was too far from my home. In the first week, I used to stand outside the office as they kept the office locked because they thought that the office boy was indulged in some unethical activates, so the office boy was not allowed to keep the keys.

They requested me to use my personal laptop for official work. As it was my job, so I did. I used to sit all alone in that scary flat which was an ‘office’ and kept telling me that they are hiring more girls but they didn’t. Colonel ABC never assigned me an official task to do and all he did was shout at me.

However, days went by and I was waiting to resign but after 20 days, they, themselves told me that they didn’t need me anymore and promised me to clear my dues by 10th of Nov 2017. Now, when I asked them about my dues,  they clearly denied to give me my salary. Isn’t it a basic right for anyone who is hired, to get their salary? To my surprise, they have also given an advertisement on Rozee for new employees. Is that what they are going to with all the people who are desperately looking for a job?

Rumors exist that Colonel ABC used to invite females in that office who stayed there after official working hours. Their company was dealing with defense procurement and other such stuff which they used to hide from everyone. I was given the instruction that I am not allowed to tell the company’s name and my job description to anyone.

My question is that, why are females hired in the first place, that too in a residential area office when CDA has strict rules over it? Why do they show the right business to employees when all they were doing was illegal? Why was I not allowed to tell anyone about my job description and the company’s name? Why are they not clearing my dues if they hired me? Why do they prefer to hire females in an empty flat? Is this a new method to make a fake company and then hire new employees every new month?

These are some serious questions which need to be answered. Kindly take proper actions against such fake companies. These people are playing with the needy and who are desperate for a job!
