The Female Dolphin Squad, part of the Punjab Police, is now patrolling Faisalabad to help keep the streets safe. This new team shows that women are taking on important roles in the police force, doing jobs that men mostly did before.
The Punjab Police wants to make sure both men and women have equal chances to work in the police force. Having women officers brings new ideas and helps the police connect better with the community.
The Lady Dolphin Squad is made up of well-trained women officers who will ride heavy motorcycles and carry special tools to fight crime and keep people safe. These female officers will work with male officers to set up checkpoints and inspect vehicles. They will also focus on patrolling busy areas like women’s universities and markets, where lots of women gather.

The Dolphin Force is a special team in the Punjab Police that started in 2016, inspired by a similar group in Istanbul, Turkey, and its job is to stop street crime. The Dolphin Force first started in Lahore and then moved to six other cities. It has 1,800 constables and officers who use motorcycles, body cameras, and other technology.
Even though the Dolphin Force is important for safety, some people have complained that it is not always efficient and has problems with corruption, especially in crowded places.
