On Monday morning, Mahira Khan made her live appearance on Geo for the promotion of her upcoming movie “Verna”, and when she was asked about the whole Sharmeen Obaid’s incident, here’s what Mahira said:

“If a doctor uses your personal information to approach you, then it is definitely the wrong code of condut and it is is perfectly okay if someone uses the right platform to talk about what is wrong.”

However, Mahira’s co-star, Haroon Shahid had a different opinion and said that a friendship request was NOT harassment. He added that it was just a friendship request and that every individual has the authority to either accept it or reject. It is that simple.
