Masarrat Misbah, a talented beautician and businesswoman in Pakistan, is famous for her beauty salons called Depilex and for starting Pakistan’s first halal-certified makeup brand. She also started the Smile Again Foundation, which helps people who have survived acid attacks. Masarrat has even acted in a TV play called Asawari by writer Surraiya Bajia, which shared important life lessons.

Recently, she appeared on Alief TV’s show Meri Maa, where she shared a heartfelt story about her parents’ support after her divorce.

Masarrat explained that after her divorce, her mother welcomed her warmly and gave her all the love she needed. Her father, showing strength, gathered her sisters and said, “I will make sure my daughters finish their education before they marry.” He asked Masarrat if she wanted to continue her studies or start working, encouraging her to move forward and become strong. Her mother, though, stayed close to her every day, showing endless love and care, which Masarrat cherished deeply.

Masarrat added that her mother somehow always sensed the struggles Masarrat was going through, even when she tried to keep things private. Her mother would often call just to check in, offering comfort even before their usual call times. These daily check-ins were like healing moments, helping Masarrat through her pain and reminding her that she was loved and supported.
