The general elections 2018 which took place just recently on 25th July led to the victory of PTI party. Former Tv actress Aisha Khan’s mother in law has been elected as a Member of the National Assembly in the General Elections 2018 on the reserved seats as a result.

The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) had submitted a list of its 18 ‘priority candidates’ for 33 reserved National Assembly seats for the women from Punjab. Asma Qadeer’s name was on the list. She has been a prominent member of the party and has been serving the PTI for long.

Asma Qadeer is Aisha Khan’s mother in law. Aisha left the entertainment industry this year in April. She left a long message for all her fans and the media explaining why she’s doing what she’s doing. In the same post, she also announced the news of her engagement. It was also one of the reasons she decided to go from actress to former actress.

Aisha tied the knot with Major Uqbah Hadeed in April after bidding farewell to the showbiz industry. She kept her fans updated and posted a few pictures from her wedding events. They got married among blessings from their friends and family. It was an event for the people close to them only unlike Feroze Khan’s wedding where half of the industry was present.

The two look so much in love and we are happy for them.

Additionally, just a few days ago, she posted a picture of her with her mother-in-law and we can see how proud she is of her. Aisha shared the news publicly on social media upon Asma’s achievement. She said that her mother-in-law Asma Qadeer’s 20 years of hard work, dedication, and untiring determination were for a Naya Pakistan.
