Mansha totally nailed it! From her direction to expressions, everything was on point.

It is important to know that postpartum depression is not a bad thing, weakness or character flaw. It’s just a phase. It is going to be okay. The only way to overcome this and help the mother in depression is to understand her emotions, be her helping hand and just be there for her so she knows that there are people who love her and support her.

But what makes it all better? An awesome husband who’s supportive and understanding. At times, even an unconditional smile would make her feel comfortable and good about herself. Looking after the baby, taking care of her needs, and loving her. Help her bond with the baby and give her equal attention and she’ll be out of this phase soon. If there are no improvements in the symptoms, it is better to consult a doctor at your earliest.
