In Pakistan, the business of online shopping is flourishing. More and more people are now getting into the field of e-commerce and selling branded items through various Facebook pages and groups. It has become the easiest way to earn money for women sitting at home. But, online shopping is always tricky. A seller or a buyer has to struggle a lot to find the right customer. Other problems may include the product’s authenticity, shipment delays, delivery charges and the quality of the product. Sometimes the customer service is pathetic.

Something similar happened to a girl in Karachi who ordered two shirts from an online shop but they delivered her different ones. Here is what she says,

My recent shopping experience from “Ladies Trend” was the worst one! It is an online shop that is selling through the Facebook Page and has more than 400,00 likes on their page. I ordered “pack of 5 sweatshirts”. They did a fraud and now not even picking up my calls, they have blocked me from their Facebook Messenger. They were communicating me with their two numbers and they don’t have the idea that their company is using two numbers.

When they sent me a parcel of the wrong pack of shirts, I complained to their Facebook page without wasting time that this is not the stuff or shirts which I ordered. After the conversation they assure that the parcel will definitely exchange, their rider will come in 7 days. It’s been 4 weeks and they have not yet parcel me the right pack which is according to my choice and my demand.

It is not about the money, it is about professionalism and the attitude. In between 4 weeks, every day I messaged them to know the update “when my parcel will come”? They reply me with only two words “tomorrow Ma’am” they never gave me the real reason or additional details.

I was thinking they have only two words that they copy paste to every customer. I am too hurt with this behavior and now want the support to block this page so that we can save everyone from hurting and breakdown of trust from online shopping, as I always do online shopping and every time I get satisfaction but now I’m afraid of being fraud and hurt.

The least we can do is report these sort of pages to stop them from doing this filthy business! After all, it’s a fraud that’s being fed to us!
