A few days ago, a video of a man belonging to the rural areas of Pakistan was seen beating his wife and daughter. The video was seen all over social media, with Pakistanis demanding this man to be arrested. The man knew he was being videoed – he kept addressing the man behind the lens while inhumanly beating his wife like it was something to be proud of.
In the same video, a man tried to stop him as well, but the perpetrator held his wife as if she was an item.

Chief Minister’s SRU stated how the man was arrested by female officers to set an example. Because this abusive man took pride in beating his wife and daughter, they shattered his pride and arrested him with female officers escorting him to the jail.

The video of this man went viral while beating shit out of her daughter, Strategic Reform Unit of CM Punjab took notice of video and coordinated with Punjab police AIG gender crime who worked with RPO to ensure arrest. He was arrested and on direction of SRU, female police officers were deputed to take him to court. What can be more powerful than this picture? Indeed, an example was set by this stern and prompt action that was taken against this vile man who knew he could get away with it, but the power of social media showed them otherwise.
