As these days, world media is filled with time to time news regarding Prince William and Princess Kate’s Pakistan tour. Earlier this week, the Royal couple landed in Pakistan’s capital for their official visit. After fulfilling their welfare agenda in Pakistan, the five days maiden tour of the Royal couple ended today, Friday. Particularly, the British Royals spent their last day in Lahore with a later scheduled flight back to Islamabad. Apparently, the flight was caught in severe plane turbulence but Prince William cracked a humorous joke which got people in a laughing guffaw.

Since Lady Diana (late)’s official Pakistan tour in the ’90s, Pakistan didn’t host anyone from the British Royal family. The recent Pakistan visit of Prince William and Princess Kate Middleton happened because of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s invitation. Well, the Royal couple entered in style at the Islamabad reception earlier this week. Prince William and Princess Kate left for United Kingdom (UK) after finishing their five days official trip to Pakistan. While flying back to Islamabad from Lahore, Prince William’s humorous joke after facing severe plane turbulence sure changed the moods.

The maiden trip of the British Royals to Pakistan sure gave the world some great sights in the whole week. According to media reports, Prince William and his spouse spent their fourth day in Lahore listening to the Holy Quran and playing cricket. Later that night, when the Royal couple took off for Islamabad, the Royal Air Force plane was caught in extreme weather. The plane carrying the Royal couple and the press faced severe turbulence and were forced twice to terminate landing because of the storms.
Amidst the rough weather, the Royal Air Force plan remained in the air for about two hours!
Apparently, the twenty-five minutes flight remained stuck in the sky for long two hours. Fortunately, the experienced pilots then safely landed the plane back in Lahore. Upon landing a panic was created but Prince totally knew how to calm the situation. While making sure that the press team is all good, Prince William joked that the turbulence happened because ‘he was flying the plane’. Further, he added, “thanks to the turbulence. We could all go out for a night out in Lahore together.”
International writers and journalists also shared the positive bond of Prince William with the press!

The emerging of an unexpected joke from a Royal Prince sure eased down the chaotic situation. On the dramatic turn of events, Kate Middleton stated, “I think it was quite an adventure really, it was pretty bumpy up there. But we were looked after so wonderfully by the RAF who did a great job liaising with everyone and got us home safely, so we are hugely grateful to them.” Well, after spending five days in Pakistan, the Royal couple has returned to the United Kingdom (UK).
