Its been a sad week for African Americans living in the US. A shocking incident jolted the world where a 46-year-old black man, died in police custody on Monday. A video shows a police officer with his knee on his neck shortly before his death.

The video has caused an uproar across the world highlighting white supremacy and police brutality. Many celebrities across the world spoke on the issue, supporting the minority black community with the #blacklivesmatter.

Priyanka Chopra is one such celebrity who took to social media to raise voice over the horrible incident.

There is so much work to be done and it needs to starts at an individual level on a global scale. We all have a responsibility to educate ourselves and end this hate. While it remains an important issue, Priyanka is being dragged on social media over it.

The reason?

As Priyanka manages to be ‘woke’ over this issue, she can surely highlight the unfair treatment happening to minorities in her own country.

The goodwill ambassador turns a blind eye when its Muslims terrorized and brutally killed on her own homeland.

Last year, Priyanka was dragged for promoting violence in the name of patriotism.

Priyanka Chopra’s hypocritical behavior of justifying the India and Pakistan war already put a spotlight on her biased pro-Modi mindset.

The actress was confronted by a Pakistani woman named Ayesha Malik who saw Chopra talking about peace. She stopped by to ask a simple question of why did she tweet “Jai Hind” and is now all about peace-making.

Not to mention, Chopra is also a UN ambassador so her actions carry even more weight. Her initial tweet had been met with severe hate especially because it was extremely damaging. It seemed that Chopra doesn’t understand the importance of her platform and definitely misused it.
