Shahid Afridi is known for his bold statements and someone who doesn’t shy away from criticism and backlash. Recently, Shahid released his biography named ‘Game Changer’ and didn’t hold back with his opinions and thoughts. In the book, he made startling revelations about his personal and professional life, as well. One of these revelations has definitely irked people out.
Daughters not allowed to play outdoor sports. Declares: Feminists can say whatever on my decision
In the book, Shahid clearly states that his daughters are not allowed by him to play outdoor sports due to religious and social reasons. He is a father to four daughters, namely, Ansha, Ajwa, Asmara and Aqsa Afridi. According to him, two of his daughters in their late-teens are great at outdoor sports, however, better at academics.
In his book Game Changer, he mentioned regarding his daughters becoming sportswomen like him, “The feminists can say whatever they want about my decision,”.
Afridi continued on in the book, “Ajwa and Asmara are the youngest and love to play dress-up. They have my permission to play any sport, as long as they’re indoors. Cricket? No, not for my girls. They have permission to play all the indoor games they want, but my daughters are not going to be competing in public sporting activities.”

Afridi facing heavy criticism and yet again is being called a ‘misogynist’
