Striving with the bleakness,

Wiping off the tears

How alone she was at the time of despair

With a shattered heart

She faced the world

“We are with you”, they said;

But did they actually care?

How alone she was at the time of despair

Heavy-hearted, she remained in the corner

Deliberating the sadness will fade;

Alas! She was wrong.

They told her to get out of it

But reminding her the thing again and again

Her strength and hope they would invade;

How alone she was at the time of despair

Days passed and she realized

No one could ever be by her side

She got up again, this time determined

Courageously, she faced the world

Strengthening herself and not being twirled

With the positivity and self-esteem, she gained

She made her life bright again

Sorrow goes away with time;

Leaving dreams and hopes that are extraordinaire

With a new vision and goal in life

She was now happy that

She was alone at the time of despair.
