Maryam Nawaz, along with her father Nawaz Shariff was arrested. This happened on Friday night 13th July upon their arrival in Lahore from London via Abu Dhabi. They were taken to jail a week after proven guilty for corruption charges in the Avenfield Properties case.
From their flight from Abu Dhabi to Lahore, people noticed how Maryam had dressed up when everybody was finally done talking about their arrest. The most noticeable of all things were those Gucci shoes that everybody kept going on and on about. Indeed, these white Gucci slippers are eye-catching. After this, people started digging more into Maryam’s dressing in the past and found out that she might have been a fashion diva.

Buying and wearing high-end brands do not seem to be a huge deal for Maryam unlike us who own a few branded things and are very satisfied with them. People are freaking out over how much these brands are costing when converted from dollars to Pak rupee. She is a big fan of brands like Chanel, Gucci, and YSL which are clearly not our everyday go-to brands. (She can obviously afford them *fake coughs*)
Yes, people have actually gone through the trouble of finding out what Chanel scarf it was and its price. Clearly, she did not convert dollars to Pak rupee!
We are sure we wouldn’t have any problem with her wearing anything if it was not from our hard earned money. The money Sharif family possesses is our Pakistani tax money which they have eaten or better-still, worn!
