This year we have witnessed that the power of fashion and lifestyle blogging is much vast than we thought. The influencers with the microbloggers on Insta are actually making a lot of difference. By sharing the kind of lifestyle they maintain, some share a healthy influence and some pretty toxic. Toxic in a manner that people sometimes look up to these blogger’s lavish lifestyle and belittle what they have, but those bloggers have earned after years of hard work.
Some people show only the shiny surface of the outside shell but it only takes a courageous blogger to tell the reality, how they got at the place where they admired by thousands.
Rooj is one such blogger on Instagram, who tells every tiny detail of her life; be it good or bad!
So, just like any other blogger Rooj is admired and loved by many girls but she chooses to tell her own set of struggles. She told people how 8 years back she lost around 40kgs due to an acute attack of asthma! Since then she’s been struggling to gain weight;
“It was 2010 when I lost 10kgs to an acute attack of asthma, the medications and constant coughing was extremely deteriorating for my health and I dropped to a 38kgs. Ever since then I have always struggled with gaining healthy weight, it has been stuck somewhere around 42-45kgs. Living away from home for studies didn’t help either as I couldn’t participate much into the gym or getting that perfect weight gain diet. Somehow managed to hit the 45kg mark but then exams happened and stress and studying etc again led me towards 42kgs. I’m healthy. I don’t feel sick and I’m not anemic but gaining good muscle mass has always been my aesthetic and goal. So I came across some amazing transformations on this online gym consultancy page called @getfitathletic
I’ll post follow up stories and post because online journalling is a good way to keep track and stay motivated!
Ps. This picture is from earlier this year
Pps. GUYS IM NOT MAKING MONEY out of this, why is it so hard to understand that I’m ACTUALLY excited to finally find a platform that can potentially help me with something that I have been working on for ages?”
Sometimes, what people admire about someone is actually a struggle for that person. Rooj is a medical student of dentistry and manages her blog along with it!
She’s a self-proclaimed make-up artist altogether!
Rooj always gives the true reality to people, no buttering no false coating at all. Which actually makes her more credible to what says. Kudos girly! 😉
