The former Top Chef contestant who has made her mark in the world of food culinary, chef Fatima Ali was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year. Known as Ewings Sarcoma, Fatima Ali went through surgery and chemotherapy which indeed was a haunting, life-changing experience for her.
Things took another turn when in September of this year, Fatima Ali believed that her cancer had return, with the doctors saying that she has only one year left to live.

Due to chemotherapy, Fatima lost her hair and her eyebrows. But did she lose her courage? No chance.
The best news is that the recent fallout in September indicates that Fatima might be in a safe, better position now. She shares that her hair is growing back and the doctors have shown a positive sign as well. Additionally, she is glad, like most of us, her cancer is not back.

Sorry I’ve been MIA for the past few weeks. My last round of chemotherapy is DONE. After being hospitalized for acute pain in my lower back that they now think could be chemo related bone necrosis, my docs recommended that I not take my last scheduled dose and I’m more than happy to oblige. I’m back home, my hair is growing and I need a few more weeks rest before I can get back into gear. As for the bit about my bone dying, I had no idea that could even happen. But hey at least the cancers not back ??
