A few days back, we encountered a video on social media where a woman was elaborating how people, especially women, all around have faced some serious situations while riding in private cabs. She also said that there have been cases where a driver enables child lock and the passenger is unable to do anything. She further explains this situation by showing a demo of how one should be prepared beforehand,in such a situation.

Here, she is explaining how you can check the child safety lock before sitting in the cab and disable it yourself. Doing so will prevent the driver from putting the child lock. Women are most vulnerable in such situations where the driver enables child lock and abducts them or robs them. One of the biggest reason why these things matter is, even if you text someone or call them to let them know the situation you are in, nobody would be able to make it to you right at the moment.

Hence, taking care of such minute things or being alert when out, is only going to be in general public’s best interest. Though these cab companies take best measures of a customer’s safety and well-being, it is very important for people to understand that safety is first in your own hands.
