With Kasur’s case opening up to the public, a lot of incidents which otherwise would have gone unnoticed, are now coming to the surface to be skimmed. After 9th of January, we haven’t seen a day pass without another news of sexual abuse.
Last week on Twitter, a doctor named Fatima Sheerin shared an incident of her patient in her tweet where she talked about how her 19-year-old patient died on her wedding night. The girl’s parents took her to the hospital in hemorrhagic shock (condition of excessive bleeding) and with serious internal injuries.

One of my patients died of excess bleeding which was apparently due to really severe Post-coital tears. Because the cuts were grave & didn’t seem like PCTs, we convinced her father to approve autopsy.

On the night of the wedding, the girl was left with severe post-coital tears, which according to the doctor, were so deep that it didn’t seem like post-coital tears. The result of the autopsy showed a barbaric act that happened to her.
Here’s the very question that not just Pakistan, but many other civilizations are now asking to be answered…
Not sure if everyone ignored her pain, but they surely ignored the severity. The lack of sex education brought to their home and will continue to be ignored…
Let’s hope to bring a change in society after all such barbaric and inhuman act.
This is terrifying. If we keep having a mindset that sex education is porn and taboo, all those stuff or maybe even more terrifying stuff keep happening.

When a person asked the doctor about legal proceedings of the incidents, the doctor’s reply was shocking.
Yes. But we didnt follow court proceedings. Maaf hi krdia hoga. Her dad was already thinking of pardoning the victim because they were related

Heard of a similar case from a friend's mom who was a gynaecologist, that a maid couldn't walk properly and was checked and there was a half broken piece of wooden rod inside her. Her husband used to do it, this time it went real wrong.

When people asked why she allowed her husband to do this to her, the only answer the person got was that, only if she was given a choice. Who would want it intentionally?!

All such acts where poor girls are dying a cruel death are calling for justice and a dire need for sex education/counseling. We deliberately push these stories under the rug, especially when the act is carried out by someone related to us. Clearly, people still do not understand the emotional trauma that their kids go through due to such petty decisions.
