Singer Aima Baig Pays Heartfelt Tribute To Pakistan’s Medical Staff

Pakistani singer Aima Baig has paid a heartfelt tribute to the Pakistani doctors. Without fearing for her life, she met the doctors working day and night on the frontline. She dedicated the song ‘Ae Watan Ke Sajeele Naujawano‘ to Pakistani doctors.

“I want to dedicate this song to the young Pakistani doctors who are fighting coronavirus daily in Pakistani hospitals,” she said.

When people across the country have been paying their gratitude to the medical staff, actress Ushna Shah recently passed an insensitive comment for the doctors. Social media brutally slammed her for judging doctors sacrificing lives on the line of duty. However, later she also apologized for her remark.

White flag tribute

Not only Aima, but many Pakistani celebrities have also been giving their tributes to the doctors who are risking their lives for the people of Pakistan.

A few days back, many Pakistani celebrities joined the nation in paying tribute to the doctors, nurses, and paramedics fighting the coronavirusPeople raised white flags across Pakistan from their balconies, rooftops, and parks to honor the medics working tirelessly to fight the pandemic.

Ayesha Omar, Junaid Khan, Momal Sheikh, Wasim Akram with wife Shaneira Akram, Resham, Humayun Saeed, Adnan Siddiqui and many more joined the movement.

Many other Pakistani celebrities are also doing their bit by giving charities and helping people in need. Many have started charity work and are openly asking for donations. Everything they are doing is being posted on social media because they said they believe in transparency.

However, as much as these charities are being appreciated all across the country, some are not being appreciative of the approach to publicize it.

Anyways, the death of two doctors while screening and treating the coronavirus patients at different hospitals in the last two weeks, has eked out a growing sense of fear and insecurity among the medical professionals.

We hope and pray for everyone fighting the battle with coronavirus. We are looking forward to the better solution of this (seems like) never-ending pandemic.
