The notorious knife attacker was going around stabbing women in Karachi a few days ago. Many women became victims of this and came to a point where they had to be hospitalized. The number of victims kept increasing day by day as the knife attacker kept choosing a different area; one after the other. Unfortunately, no one has been to find out the actual reason behind this attacking and no one knows who the attacker is, yet.

Just recently, a video of a woman surfaced on the internet where she told her viewers how she roams around in Gulistan-e-Johar, safely by keeping a knife in her bag. Yes! The woman in the video pulled out a knife from her handbag and advised the girls to keep one in their bags as well, and that there is no need to fear anything. She also had a message for all the guys out there that instead of asking their sisters/mothers to stay at home, they should rather keep a knife to defend themselves out on the street.

We loved her bravery as she’s the first woman who came forward and advised other women how to protect themselves instead of staying indoors and locking themselves up. We’re proud of such women empowerment and this is exactly what we need in this country. We salute her! So, are the women going to take this culprit down since the concerned authorities haven’t been successful?
