So we used to be tuned to the American series of The Real Housewives, Desperate Housewives, Keeping Up With The Kardashians and even some of would watch Bigg Boss, that Indian reality series? Yeeaaaah, you know what I’m talking about. Well, for all those females out there, here is a brand new, freshly brewed series about all high and mighty people of Karachi coming together for a cause. Our very own desi touch to the international reality shows, to satisfy our drama filled needs.

The series cast familiar faces from the society and puts them in a reality TV program style that showcases the challenges and joys of life as of being some of the elite people in Karachi. It’s not just about the elite life or just women empowering each other, it’s actually a peak in the lives of the busy multi-tasking women who are mothers, designers, wives and they went for their dreams along with all that.

It’s actually a big deal if it seems like it’s not, let me remind you we as a nation wholehearted are in favour and against for women being successful, can’t deny the facts, whereas even when the females are in higher percentage in this country but still we stay strongly opinionated towards and against it. Moving on to these ladies who you can’t take lightly, Fashion designers Hadia Khan and Mohsin Sayeed, jewelry designer Nazneen Tariq, former model Uzma Khan and author Ainee Salim. In the tv series, they navigate their busy lives and complex relationships with people and work.

Here’s a picture so you won’t have to google them away…

It’s a pleasant six-episode documentary series of about 10-12 mins, produced and directed by Senain Kheshgi and you can follow it on YouTube. Unlike all the American reality tv shows, this Diva’s of Karachi particularly show Karachi in a different way which is very light and posh, along with talking about the basic problems with the infrastructure of this country, even that is discussed very lightly but then again light is shed on some series notes as well.
