Indian TV actors Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim got married recently. The marriage got much hype on the internet for the very reason that the bride (Dipika) converted to Islam. Her conversion was the talk of the town which was revealed on her marriage to people. The wedding took place at Shoaib’s hometown with Muslim rituals which raised many eyebrows as to how can a Hindu convert to Islam.

It didn’t end here. After her conversion, Dipika changed her name to Faiza. They both boldly fought all the odds and stood tall together, they knew that they would face criticism and would have to reply with love every time they get hate. They successfully did it and are now happily married and it was all over on her Instagram.

Dipika said in a recent interview:

“Joh sach hai woh hai. It’s true I have done it, but why and when I have done it, don’t think it needs to be talked about. I think it is a very personal matter and I don’t think I need to talk about it openly in front of the media. For the audience and media, we are actors have always shared everything. All our happy moments we have shared with you all, but this I think is a very personal space and I don’t give anyone the permission to enter the space. Definitely, it is true and I am not denying it. I am very happy and proud that I have done it for myself and my happiness. My family was with me in this decision and my intentions were not to hurt anyone. This is my decision.”

Dipika’s reply that it was her conscious decision in which her parents were there with her. Every loved one supported her and wished her happiness. Further, she said that as an actor, they share everything with people but she does not want to reveal any information about when and why she converted. She said that she’s really happy with her marriage and every decision she made. Kudos to her! Much love.
