In the past, many incidents have been reported where girls have been attacked by acid in Pakistan. Another case was reported on September 12, 2017, when a girl was attacked by her fiance with acid, in Lahore. The 24-year-old is now suffering from critical burns on her face and body parts, and it has been reported that she has sustained 6% burns on her face and 30% on her body. Truly terrifying.

A recent post surfaced the internet asking people to help this girl. According to Khadija (the girl who shared the story), the acid victim has now been discharged but still visits the hospital for her dressings. However, the girl needs our help to support her medical expenses and is reaching out to people for help.

12 September 2017, a young girl was doused in acid from head to toe leaving her in a miserable state. I have pictures of her burnt face, because masses tend to understand the intensity of attack only through images .
She was admitted in Jinnah Hospital, Lahore.
Today when I met her, she started crying bitterly leaving me heart wrenched
“Mera sara mun jalaa hua hai, ankhen khatam ho gai hain, mere pas ilaaj k paise bhi nai hain, mera zinda rehne ka kia faida,isay behtar mar he jati” 
I told her she doesnt have to worry about anything at all and the whole nation would stand untied by her, to that she responded ” muje pata hai koi kuch nai kere ga, apse pehle bohat loag aa chuke hain yehe dawaay ker k gaye thay”

It’s truly sad to know how such cases are being reported on a regular basis and we pray the culprit is caught and we hope justice prevails.We should all pray for the victims and share this as much as we can so we can help such people.
