Indian actress Reem Sheikh will be seen playing the role of young activist Malala. The actress recently shared the poster of the film on her Instagram account. She also shared the honor of sharing screen space with Indian actress Divya Dutt, who’d be seen playing the role of Malala’s mother.

The biopic is produced by Anand Kumar and stars the late Om Puri and Ragini Khanna in the supporting roles.

For those who are or at least once followed the Indian industry might be aware of Reem Sheikh who played roles in Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha and had the honor of working with Big B of Bollywood Amitabh Bachan in Wazir.

According to the Indian media, parts of the film are still left which is to be covered soon, after which the release date of the film will be announced. The major part of the film was already shot in 2016 in Mumbai and Bhuj.

It is indeed interesting to see how the talented people across the borders release the impact of Malala in the world. The film is definitely worth the wait!
