Interesting question! Why don’t we begin by defining the word ‘Character’?

Someone who dresses up in a way the world wants them to be, someone who speaks from the dictionary provided to us by the so-called people, someone who thinks as same as their ancestors used too, someone who walks on the footprints of their parents, someone who talks just the way you do. If this is what you call character, then being characterless would be much appropriate.

Now, who do you call characterless?

The one who loves to do whatever the heart says, the one who enjoys their own presence, the one who speaks up for their rights, the one who works to feed their families, the one who stays out at night not to party but for work, the one who smiles so hard even on your lame jokes, the one who loves to hang out, the one who loves to stuff their wardrobe with their favorite collection, the one who tolerates harshness even without any fault.

So, what do you think about how people should start their career? Or choose any occupation because the society we live in, has been categorized? We have sorted what occupation comes under the roof of dignity and without. If a girl chooses to be an air hostess, why do we call her characterless? Or a job that is not suitable for a female?

Why is that so? If someone guides you to the right path, if someone serves you food besides the fact they are hungry too, wear a uniform which is mandatory, even then, flattering terms are also used to describe these hard-working employees. They’re often called ‘glorifies ayahs’ and rhythm reveals that some of the passengers actually treat them as their domestic servants. Being an air hostess is not easy because we’re the ones who’ve made it difficult. Still, we call it a job of characterless people because we are unaware of the facts.
