Despite her countless efforts of doing well for Pakistan, UN Noble Prize winner Malala Yousafzai often gets bashed on the social media. From her being away from Pakistan to being called an “actress” for “pretending” to be shot in the head, the hate Malala gets is unreal.

Recently, the activist donated a lump sum amount of $7 million to build schools in Swat. This isn’t the first time Malala has done something for the better good.

Keeping the geographical differences aside, Malala has always come forward to speak on the rights of women. The Nobel Prize winner has established her name alongside Pakistan’s name on various international forums and she continues doing so.

Sanitary concerns are a major issue in countries such as India and Pakistan where either the subject is treated as a taboo or not given any importance despite the health awareness it essentially requires.

In the light of this, Indian actor Akshay Khanna stars in the film called Pad Man which sheds light on the sanitary awareness.

Malala was seen promoting the film with Twinkle Khanna and the team of Pad Man.

I’m really excited to see the film, ‘Pad Man’… because the message behind the film is truly inspiring,” Yousafzai told Twinkle Khanna when they met.

However, Many Pakistanis Are Not Happy With Two Things:

  1. Malala promoting an Indian film
  2. Malala holding a sanitary napkin in her hands

Twinkle Khanna visited the Oxford University and met with the students there, including Malala Yousafzai. Malala, while showing utmost support for the film was seen holding a sanitary napkin with the rest of the students as they showed their advocation towards Pad Man.

Pakistanis Continue Throwing Outrageous Comments at Malala

There Are Many Who Stand in Support of Malala
